Is thicker than banana bread, this dessert is rich also full. Brown butter frosting is something you'll dream about days after the bars are gone from your serving platter.
* ingredients:
° 1-1/2 c. Sugar
° 1 c. sour cream
° 1/2 c. softened butter
° 2 eggs
° 1-3/4 (3 or 4) mashed ripe bananas
° 2 tsp. vanilla extract
° 2 c. All-purpose flour
° 1 tsp. baking soda
° 3/4 tsp. salt
° 1/2 c. chop walnuts (optional)
Butter Brown Frosting:
° 1/2 c upbutter
° 4 cup sugar soft
° 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
° 3 tablespoons. milk
* Directions :
1. Preheat oven 375 degres F . Grease a jelly-roll mold with grease and flour, 15 x 10 inches.For a saucepan, beat the sugar, sour cream, butter, and eggs in a large bowl until creamy.Mix banana with vanilla extract. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and blend for 1 minute. Stir with walnuts.
2. Spreading mix evenly in pan. Baking about 20 to 25 min
3.Meanwhile, for the frosting, heat the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat until it boils.Let the oil turn a soft brown, and then immediately remove it from the stove.
4. Adding powder sugar, vanilla extract & milk.Beat until smooth (it should be thicker than the glaze but thinner than the decoration).Pour the brown butter on the hot rod (this will make it easier to oil the decoration while the hot rod is still hot).
